If you want to feed six unexpected guests by tasty and high-energy course, the best decision is to make baat – traditional Badakhshan food.

Structure:

  • Cream
  • Milk
  • Flour
  • Sugar
  • Salt

Reciepe:

  1. Boil the milk.
  2. Reheat 400 g. of cream in the pot*
  1. When cream is melt, add 100 g. of flour
  2. Stir up
  3. Add 200 ml. of hot boiled milk
  4. Stir up approximately 10 min. until it became the same kind as gruel
  5. Add sugar and salt to somebody’s taste
  6. Stir up until vegetable oil will extract on the surface of slush
  7. Lay out baat on a plate

*As in Badakhshan only natural products are used, cream is skimed from the milk and collected few days.
